Show Notes

Ryan David Leaf, former NFL quarterback, now leads the charge in mental health advocacy. He's on a mission to de-stigmatize mental illness and addiction, emphasizing that seeking help is a courageous act, not a weakness.

Leaf's football journey began with a remarkable college career at Washington State. His accolades include Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year (1997), First Team All-American honors, and a Heisman Trophy finalist nomination. He led the Cougars to the 1997 Rose Bowl before being drafted second overall by the San Diego Chargers in 1998.

Today, Leaf wears many hats. He's the CEO of RAM Consultant, Inc. and a program ambassador for Transcend Recovery Community. In the sports media world, he's made a name for himself as a college football analyst for ESPN, calling games and hosting a Pac-12 radio show on Sirius XM. His regular appearances on SportsCenter keep him connected to the game he once played.
