We're sitting down with Donnie Anderson, Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (OBNDDC), for a rare, unfiltered conversation about the war on drugs in the Sooner State.

With 29 years of hard-earned experience, Director Anderson has worked his way up from the streets to the state's top drug enforcement position. This native Oklahoman started his career at the Garvin County Sheriff's Office, eventually rising to serve as both Sheriff and Undersheriff. He commanded the District 21 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, taking on some of the toughest criminals across Garvin, McClain, and Cleveland counties. Before leading OBNDDC, he served as Oklahoma Inspector General for the Department of Corrections, giving him unique insight into both sides of the criminal justice system.

But Director Anderson isn't just fighting crime on the ground—he's shaping the strategy from the top as Chairman of the North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) and a key member of the Oklahoma Opioid Overdose Fatality Review Board.
