Show Notes
Amy Newman’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and purpose. For years, she lived in silence—fighting addiction while trying to appear as though everything was fine. That facade eventually crumbled, forcing Amy to confront the truth and take the courageous step of asking for help. What began as a moment of vulnerability became the foundation of her greatest strength: a lifelong mission to guide others through recovery.
Now celebrating 22 years of sobriety, Amy has turned her personal struggle into a powerful legacy. She spent over a decade working inside a residential rehabilitation center, walking alongside hundreds of individuals and families as they fought their way back from despair to hope. Her unique ability to connect—born from both lived experience and professional expertise—has made her a trusted voice for those who feel lost, judged, or alone.
Today, Amy continues her work through Newman Interventions and Recovery Solutions, partnering with her husband, top interventionist Bobby Newman, to help families navigate the overwhelming challenges of addiction. Their approach blends compassion with structure, offering practical tools that lead to real progress and lasting change. Amy also co-created the Sober Support App, a daily coaching resource designed to keep individuals accountable, connected, and focused on their recovery journey.
Whether she’s guiding a parent desperate to save their child, supporting someone in the fragile early days of sobriety, or helping families rebuild trust and stability, Amy’s mission is clear: to bring hope, clarity, and a path forward—even when life feels impossible.
Check out the Sober Support Coaching App and discover how Amy’s journey can inspire yours.
